Are you inspired to try this look this holiday season? Read on to learn how to create the look yourself.

Step 1: Wash and straighten hair.

For this hairstyle, you want to have sleek straight hair to serve as the base for your hair tinsel. Begin by washing your hair with Suave Cactus Flower Shine Shampoo and Conditioner.

Step 2: Part hair.

Part your hair in the direction you want it to fall. Our favorite hair parting of the moment is the deep side part. Try it out to add a sultry feel to your style.

Step 3: Apply hairspray.

Liberally spray your hair with a finishing spray like Dove Style+Care Extra Hold Hairspray to seal your hairstyle. Applying hairspray will also help your hair tinsel stay in place.

Step 4: Add tinsel.

Take strands of tinsel and loop them around the roots of your hair. To do this, you can simply make a knot with the tinsel as close to your scalp as possible. Ed’s tip: Pull your knot tight, but not too tight, as you want to be able to slide it off when it’s time to remove it. Are you thinking about trying out this trend this holiday season?
